Barrweld™ is an IFR - Inherently Flame Resistant, high performance fabric. It is made using a blend of 40% Twaron®/60% Lenzing FR™ aramid fibers, resulting in a fabric that has excellent heat and cut protection. Barrweld™ IFR products differ from topically treated FR in that their properties are inherent, and cannot be laundered out. The inherent flame resistance will last for the lifetime of the garment and the fabric will not burn, drip, or melt.
